Augusta Regional Airport: Private Jet Charter

Augusta Regional, private reception operated by the city

Augusta Regional, identified as AGS / KAGS, has a business aviation facility owned and operated by the City of Augusta. This FBO advertises 24-hour service, seven days a week. To charter a private jet to or from Augusta, send your itinerary and preferred schedule: we match the proposed aircraft with ground reception and the intended length of stay.

IBC Aviation acts as an independent broker. Our Geneva office supports travellers connecting Europe and the United States, with a proposal built around the complete programme.

The dimensions come from the FAA supplement effective from 3 September to 29 October 2026. They describe the airfield; the air operator calculates performance using actual weight, weather and available distances for the intended runway direction.

Continuous FBO service does not give every airport function the same schedule. Tower hours and any conditions affecting your movement still need to be checked.

For the Masters, communicate requirements when the trip is confirmed

The airport’s official Masters information asks operators to communicate trip details and ground requirements once the mission is confirmed.

It provides for advance service requests and helps coordinate hotels and rental cars. For a tournament visit, preparation starts with your dates, rather than treating the flight booking as the only item that needs attention.

How the aircraft spends the visit is a material part of the decision. An aircraft parked for several days and one departing after dropping off its passengers involve different parking, crew and return arrangements. We seek a response on these points before comparing proposals.

We have the Masters instructions and parking confirmed for the edition you plan to attend. Notices from an earlier tournament do not establish the arrangements for your arrival.

Arrange reception at the FBO and the onward transfer

The municipal FBO offers conference rooms, a flight planning area, a crew lounge and a shower.

These facilities may be useful for a business stop or an aircraft waiting on site. We check the services your party requires and their availability at the intended time.

Your driver needs the agreed pickup point for private aviation. The scheduled airline terminal address is not a substitute for that instruction. When guests arrive separately, we consolidate their contacts and schedules so that suitable vehicles can be arranged.

Share your Masters dates or business appointment, passenger count, luggage and final address. Please identify golf bags: their bulk influences aircraft selection as well as the number of seats required.

Separate the flight budget from several days of ground charges

Augusta’s published ramp fees are assessed per day per arrival, using the aircraft’s maximum landing weight.

An aircraft remaining for several days incurs a charge for each day. Another arrival can also affect the calculation; a continuous stay and a repositioning programme should therefore be compared on the same basis.

The airport website also announces a schedule effective from 1 January 2027. As of 26 October 2026, that remains a future change. We obtain the fee schedule applicable to your travel dates, distinguishing landing charges, ramp fees and other requested services.

Our aircraft category price references place a light jet from approximately EUR 4,000 per hour, or an ultra long range cabin at around EUR 9,000 to 12,000 per hour for an intercontinental mission. These euro benchmarks are neither contractual local US tariffs nor the complete price of an Augusta trip.

Select the cabin with luggage and the return programme in mind

For a regional sector, baggage capacity and loading of equipment form part of the selection.

For a crossing from Europe, we instead assess range, cabin and programme feasibility with the air operator. A Falcon 8X may enter that comparison without its category alone confirming a particular mission.

The proposal should explain whether the crew stays locally, whether the aircraft repositions and how departure is arranged. Changing the return day after the tournament may affect these items; we set out the assumptions so that offers can be compared on equivalent terms.

Frequently asked questions

What price should I allow for a private flight to the Masters?

A light jet provides a category reference from approximately EUR 4,000 per hour; an intercontinental ultra long range mission is around EUR 9,000 to 12,000 per hour. The complete quote must add positioning and Augusta charges, including ramp fees per day per arrival, without treating these euro references as a firm local offer.

How are flight time and pickup time in Augusta established?

The departure point, aircraft and programme determine the flight duration we obtain from the air operator. We then connect that estimate with FBO reception and the transfer to your address, retaining a margin appropriate to the appointment or tournament.

Does a private service provider own the Augusta FBO?

No. Augusta Regional Airport Aviation Services is owned and operated by the City of Augusta. It advertises continuous service with passenger and crew facilities. Other airport functions have their own conditions.

Can the aircraft remain throughout the Masters?

The stay needs confirmation with the FBO, according to the programme and parking availability. The cost goes beyond arrival: the published rule provides for ramp charges on each day the aircraft remains on site.

Is the fee schedule announced for January 2027 already in force?

No. As of 26 October 2026, its announced effective date remains 1 January 2027. We request the schedule applicable to your travel dates and the instructions for the relevant tournament edition rather than reusing an earlier notice.
