How much does a private jet cost from Dubai?

Flights to Europe run on a heavy jet or an ultra long range aircraft, the latter at €9,000 to €12,000 per hour. Example prices: Dubai to Geneva costs €76,000 on a Falcon 2000 with 10 seats, and Dubai to London €84,000 on the same aircraft. For 11 to 14 passengers, an ultra long range jet such as the Falcon 7X is charged by the hour, at the rate given above. Al Maktoum, Dubai International or Fujairah

Three airports in the Emirates receive business aviation, and the choice is made booking by booking. Our page on Al Maktoum airport and our guide to the DWC expansion cover the first in detail.

• Al Maktoum (DWC / OMDW), about 40 minutes from central Dubai and a little over an hour from Abu Dhabi. Main runway of 4,500 metres by 60, CAT IIIB certified, 24-hour operation, slots under simple facilitation. Five private terminals: DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, established in 2013 with a 1,300 m2 VVIP lounge and two hangars, ExecuJet, whose 15,000 m2 terminal opened in early 2025, Jet Aviation, Falcon Aviation and Jetex, a 1,500 m2 terminal opened in 2016. The expansion programme approved on 28 April 2024 targets 260 million passengers in the long run; On 11 September 2025, Dubai South launched the "VIP Terminal Boulevard" next to its VIP terminal, 769 metres and 16 buildings for aviation businesses, delivered in phases from 2026.
• Dubai International (DXB / OMDB), inside the city, remains the main hub. Coordinated at level 3 since 2010, it keeps few slots for business aviation at peak times: we propose it when the final address or an airline connection call for it.
• Fujairah (FJR / OMFJ), on the Gulf of Oman, outside the Strait of Hormuz, about 130 km from Dubai, a 1h15 drive across the Hajar mountains. A 3,750-metre runway completed by a second runway opened in 2022, 24-hour operation, every aircraft type. Two events fill the parking at DWC: the MEBAA Show, whose eleventh edition is scheduled from 8 to 10 December 2026, and the Dubai Airshow, whose next edition runs from 15 to 19 November 2027. The Dubai International Boat Show also concentrates arrivals into a few days.

Dubai International: slots through two FBOs, 24 hours on the ground

At DXB, a business flight cannot be improvised. Under the conditions of use published by Dubai Airports for general aviation (edition in force since October 2023), no flight lands or departs without a slot from the coordinator ACL and landing permission from the DCAA, and every request goes through one of the two designated FBOs, ExecuJet or Jet Aviation.

Two rules feed straight into the quote. A large long range business jet (ICAO code C and above, a wingspan of 24 metres or more, such as the Falcon 8X or the Gulfstream G650) that stays more than 24 hours on the ground must be towed to its FBO apron, or else relocated to Al Maktoum.

Slots used at peak hours carry a 50% premium: for arrivals from 5:00 to 7:00, 11:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 1:00, for departures from 7:00 to 12:00, 14:00 to 16:00, 20:30 to 23:30 and 2:00 to 5:00, Dubai time. The Falcon 2000 used in our price examples is smaller and falls outside the 24-hour rule. This is what we check before recommending DXB over DWC.

Which aircraft for which sector

To Riyadh, Doha, Muscat or Jeddah, one to two hours in the air, an aircraft from the light category or a midsize cabin is enough for four to eight passengers. The Maldives or Istanbul, around four and a half hours, call for a super midsize or a heavy jet depending on the luggage.

Geneva, Paris and London are 4,900 to 5,500 kilometres away: a heavy jet such as the Falcon 900LX or the Global 5000 covers the sector non-stop for four to eight passengers. For a full cabin, an overnight flight with berths or an onward leg to Asia, the Gulfstream G650 or the Falcon 8X bring the range margin. The three-to-four-hour difference with Europe makes it possible to leave DWC in the early evening and sit in a 9:00 meeting in Geneva.

Flying out of Dubai: Europe, the Indian Ocean, India and Africa

On the European side, Geneva, London and Paris appear in our example prices above; the French Riviera, Mykonos, Santorini or the coasts of Turkey are quoted at the hourly rate of the category, from €6,500 per hour on a heavy jet.

The Indian Ocean and India are within reach of a mid-size cabin: the Maldives in 4h10 on a Falcon 2000, Mumbai or Delhi in about three hours, depending on the aircraft and the winds, with the formalities set out in our guide to private jets in India. Closer in, Doha, Muscat, Beirut or Cairo are a light jet or midsize sector, from €4,000 per hour.
