Nantucket Airport: Private Jets and Stay Arrangements
Nantucket, prepare arrival and the stand for the season
A private jet to or from Nantucket Memorial (ACK / KACK) needs aircraft and parking preparation, particularly during the June to August peak. The FAA requires two-hour PPR for non-scheduled operations by aircraft with more than nine passenger seats. Our Geneva office coordinates these elements with the carrier. Request a Nantucket stay proposal with dates and party size.
Aircraft seating matters to PPR
The FAA condition addresses aircraft capacity, with the more-than-nine passenger seats threshold for the operations concerned.
It should not be reduced to the passengers actually occupying a larger cabin. The carrier checks the regime applying to its mission.
The two-hour notice is a documented minimum for this permission.
It is neither an acceptance promise within two hours nor a universal deadline for every formality. We have required applications and rotation services prepared. The selected programme needs to match agreements actually received for the movement and stay. An aircraft offer alone does not establish those arrangements.

June, July and August require parking arrangements
The airport identifies those three months as seasonal movement peaks. Parking therefore belongs alongside flight preparation rather than being discussed only after arrival. The stand and services need to match the proposed model and dates.
For a return after several nights on the island, we compare local waiting and any repositioning. Their return conditions can differ. The proposal should specify these arrangements and charges so the client selects a complete rotation. A later final appointment should be disclosed while the aircraft stay is being assessed.
Fly Friendly remains subject to air traffic control
Fly Friendly recommends visual-flight corridors favouring over-water routes. Noise-abatement routes remain voluntary and subject to ATC instructions.
We have the carrier prepare the mission using applicable procedures and expected weather. Flight times are aligned with resources available at the airport. The passenger receives the confirmed programme and reception point without needing to select a flight path. The intended return is considered against its own conditions rather than assumed identical to arrival.
Coordinate the cabin and island sectors
Our team requests origin and stay address, followed by passenger and baggage requirements.
An international arrival also needs the border process appropriate to the route to be confirmed. As an independent broker, we compare carriers’ proposals using identical mission information.
Return date and timing flexibility are specified during preparation. Have your Nantucket rotation coordinated with parking and transfer included. The driver should use instructions for the private flight’s selected reception point. If some travellers use another flight, their arrangements need separate identification.
The APU limit belongs to ramp management
The 2025 ramp-management update limits APU use to 15 minutes. An APU is the aircraft’s auxiliary power unit. This measure is monitored and should not be treated as having the same voluntary status as Fly Friendly routes.
Handler and carrier arrange ground requirements for the aircraft. The general aviation building includes crew facilities, workstations and showers. Those amenities describe airport support; resources needed during your waiting period should be specified for the selected programme. A general facilities list does not reserve services for every aircraft at once.
Runways and services are more than a maximum length
The FAA gives 6,303 ft physical length for 06/24 but a 5,765 ft LDA in 06.
Runway 15/33 measures 4,500 ft and should not be confused with the main one. The carrier assesses performance in the expected direction and conditions.
The tower publishes seasonal hours, and fire service outside its normal window needs specific preparation. We therefore do not present every aircraft’s reception as permanent. Routing and any technical stop are specified following mission loading and service assessment. The quoted schedule needs to reflect those arrangements.
What budget applies to a Nantucket rotation?
Our category cost references place light jets from approximately EUR 4,000 per hour and ultra long range aircraft around EUR 9,000 to 12,000 per hour for an intercontinental mission.
These euro benchmarks are not contractual US tariffs. The total includes positioning and programme charges, with aircraft arrangements during the stay specified.
Receive an ACK quotation for your stay dates, with permissions and parking assessed for the proposed cabin.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a private jet at Nantucket cost?
A light jet gives a reference from approximately EUR 4,000 per hour and ultra long range aircraft around EUR 9,000 to 12,000 per hour for an intercontinental mission. The quotation adds positioning and stay charges. These references are not firm US tariffs or a total route price.
What flying time and notice should I prepare for Nantucket?
Flying time is assessed from your origin with the proposed aircraft and expected conditions. The FAA requires two-hour PPR for non-scheduled operations by aircraft with more than nine passenger seats. Other formalities and parking also need confirmation for the mission.
Does PPR depend only on passengers actually aboard?
The documented threshold concerns an aircraft with more than nine passenger seats for the operations addressed. A larger cabin carrying fewer travellers should not automatically be treated as a nine-seat aircraft; the carrier confirms the applicable regime.
Is the 15-minute APU limit voluntary like Fly Friendly?
The APU limit comes from the ramp-management plan updated in 2025 and is monitored. Fly Friendly routes are voluntary and subordinate to ATC instructions. These statuses need distinction during flight preparation.
Does a several-day visit automatically include aircraft parking?
The stand is prepared with the handler, particularly during the summer peak. We specify waiting or repositioning and associated charges; return arrangements need to match aircraft availability actually confirmed.
