Prague Airport: Private Jets at Terminal 3

Prague-Václav-Havel, private reception at Terminal 3

Private flights to or from Prague-Václav-Havel, PRG / LKPR, are handled at Terminal 3. This applies to general and business aviation, including helicopters. The airport is Level 3 coordinated and requires ground handling. Ask us to assess your Prague flight so that the proposed aircraft, airport slot and reception arrangements are reviewed together.

Our Luxembourg office supports the planning of European travel with IBC Aviation. As an independent broker, we compare operator proposals and coordinate the arrangements selected for the trip.

Terminals 3 and 4 have different roles

Terminal 3 is the reference point for general and business aviation. It should not be confused with airline Terminals 1 and 2, or with Terminal 4.

Terminal 4 serves flights of state importance. That role does not make it an interchangeable VIP terminal for an ordinary private charter. Your flight instructions identify the actual reception and the meeting point to give your driver.

For an airline connection, we include the transfer between terminals in the programme. Provide the flight number and arrival time so we can assess baggage arrangements and the onward meeting point using specific details.

A slot for the airport, a parking space for the aircraft

Level 3 status means schedules are coordinated under the applicable procedure. Your preferred time is therefore assessed as part of the flight request; identifying an available aircraft is only one step.

Parking and hangar capacity are limited in their own right. The airport states that availability depends on aircraft size and the period concerned. A confirmed airport slot does not automatically reserve a space for the duration of your visit.

We establish whether the aircraft can wait locally. If repositioning is needed, the movements should be included in both the cost assessment and the return arrangements; the comparison is based on known conditions rather than an assumption of unlimited parking.

Mandatory handling prepares the ground stop

Václav Havel requires the use of a ground handler. Its role includes helping travellers with baggage and immigration procedures. The formalities themselves continue to depend on the flight's origin and destination.

We establish any requirements specific to your party before departure. Reduced mobility assistance, professional equipment or several vehicles to coordinate should be included in the file. The reporting time is set for the trip actually being arranged.

Your quotation for a Prague programme brings the selected services together. The operator coordinates the aircraft's requirements with the handler, while we keep passenger instructions consistent with the travel arrangements.

From a city appointment to an international connection

For a working day in Prague, provide the address and time of the first meeting and the expected finish of the last. We can then assess a departure that fits your availability and the airport's arrangements.

If some travellers arrive from outside the Schengen area, explain each person's itinerary. A handler's assistance does not remove border requirements. The necessary documents belong in the preparation of the trip.

The road access to reception should also be confirmed before travel. A temporary restriction on an older page may not describe traffic conditions on your departure date. We use the joining instructions relevant to the actual trip.

Choose a cabin for the party and its luggage

A Phenom 300 may be considered for a European flight with a smaller party. A Citation XLS is another option to assess against cabin and luggage requirements.

The decision relates to the configuration actually offered by the operator. For several stops, we compare aircraft performance with the complete itinerary and time available at each airport. The models are examples for assessing your needs, rather than a statement of aircraft based at Prague.

What should you budget for a Prague charter?

Our private jet charter prices provide a category guide: light jets start at approximately EUR 4,000 per flight hour, as an indication. This hourly figure is not the total price of the trip.

The quotation also includes positioning, airport fees and ground handling. Whether the aircraft can park locally or needs to leave after drop-off may change the programme. Send your dates and cabin requirements to compare proposals using the same assumptions.

Frequently asked questions

Which terminal handles a private jet at Prague?

General and business aviation, including helicopters, uses Terminal 3 at Prague-Václav-Havel. Terminal 4 is assigned to flights of state importance. The exact reception point is given in your travel instructions.

How much does a private flight to or from Prague cost?

Light jets start at an indicative EUR 4,000 per flight hour. The total also reflects positioning, airport fees, handling and return arrangements. The quote needs to include any aircraft movements required during the stay.

Can the aircraft remain in Prague for several days?

Parking and hangar capacity are limited, depending on aircraft size and timing. We check the possibility of staying locally separately from the airport slot. Repositioning is assessed where the programme requires it.

Can I connect to a private flight from the airline terminals?

This can be arranged with a transfer to Terminal 3, baggage collection and the applicable formalities. Provide the airline flight details so that a suitable meeting point and schedule can be prepared.
