A private jet to or from Taipei Songshan (RCSS) uses an airport within the city, separate from Taoyuan. For international private and business charter flights, the AIP requires passenger and crew formalities at the Business Aviation Center.

Confirm Songshan before arranging the drive

Songshan and Taoyuan are separate airports. An itinerary naming only “Taipei” therefore does not tell passengers or a driver where to arrive. We specify RCSS in the preparation correspondence, then establish the meeting point matching the confirmed ground arrangements.

The business aviation centre entered service on 26 April 2012, according to the airport’s official report.

That date describes the creation of the process, rather than replacing current flight checks. Choosing the urban airport must be assessed against permission, cabin and onward plans instead of a driving time quoted without a destination address.

The business aviation centre process applies to passengers and crew members on the relevant international flights.

It is therefore more than a choice of lounge in which to wait. Reception and border checks must be prepared as part of the flight documentation.

This service window needs confirmation for the flight. It does not promise continuous international clearance.

Limited hangar space changes the parking discussion

The AIP describes limited hangar availability for visiting aircraft. This does not mean all parking is impossible, but it prevents a promise of covered space for every aircraft. We distinguish an outside stand, a hangar place and the accepted duration of the stay.

The cost of keeping the aircraft should appear in the comparison. If it needs to move elsewhere between flights, that arrangement and the return conditions must be assessed before you decide. An aircraft with a lower hourly price may produce a different total once its stay arrangements are included.

The physical 2,605 m runway does not establish universal aircraft or loading acceptance.

The operator assesses current aeronautical information and the performance of the proposed aircraft. We do not reproduce landing distances disputed between document versions as established figures.
