Cape Town Airport
Cape Town International Airport (CPT / FACT)
Around 20 km from the centre, Cape Town International Airport (CPT / FACT) is South Africa's second airport and the fourth-busiest in Africa. Its main 3,201 m runway accommodates every type of aircraft, from business jets to ultra-long-range jets linking Europe non-stop; a second runway serves general aviation.
The gateway to the Western Cape, it offers fast access to the business district, the V&A Waterfront and the nearby winelands.
History and recognition
Opened in 1954, the airport was renamed Cape Town International Airport after the end of apartheid. Hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup triggered a major expansion, with a central terminal linking the formerly separate buildings. In 2025 it was named the best airport in Africa at the Skytrax World Airport Awards.
These modern facilities make it one of the highest-rated airports on the continent, with services suited to an international clientele.
A private, discreet arrival
Cape Town Airport has terminals dedicated to business aviation, operated by two first-class FBOs, ExecuJet and Signature Aviation: a private lounge, personalised reception, streamlined customs and immigration, hangars and direct access to the aircraft. Our teams coordinate ground handling and your transfer for a smooth arrival, from the apron to your hotel.
Cape Town, between business and the art of living
Cape Town combines economic dynamism and quality of life: corporate headquarters, a growing tech and financial scene, and one of the world's most beautiful leisure destinations. Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, the beaches of Clifton and the vineyards of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek make up a unique setting, prized for private stays as much as for high-end retreats.
