Located around 2 km south of the centre of Fujairah, on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates, Fujairah International Airport (FJR / OMFJ) is the country's only international airport on the eastern seaboard, along the Gulf of Oman. Commissioned in 1987, it has a 3,750 m runway, complemented by a new runway opened in 2022.
