Tokyo Haneda Airport: Private Jets and Terminal 3
Haneda, international business aviation at Terminal 3
A private jet to or from Tokyo Haneda (HND / RJTT) can use the Business Aviation Gate at Terminal 3, published as open 24 hours a day on the official airport portal. This international process includes border checks, but does not reserve a runway slot or aircraft stand. Our Bangkok office confirms visit arrangements with the air operator and local handler. Request an assessment of your Haneda arrival, specifying your return date and Tokyo address.
A separate airport from Narita
Haneda is Tokyo International Airport. Japan’s coordinator places it approximately 14 km south of Tokyo Station, a geographic reference rather than a driving time. Narita is another airport, so reception arranged at one cannot be used at the other.
We specify the Business Aviation Gate access and meeting point for the driver.
Terminal 3 also serves scheduled flights; saying only “Terminal 3” therefore does not adequately identify the business aviation process. Your city address and the flight’s accepted times then determine the transfer arrangements.
| Identification | Tokyo International Airport, Haneda, HND / RJTT |

| Runways listed by the coordinator | 3,360 m, 3,000 m and two of 2,500 m; all 60 m wide |
| Geographic reference | Approximately 14 km south of Tokyo Station |
| Business jet parking | Five consecutive days advertised by the consulted handler, subject to reconfirmation |
The private process includes security and border formalities
The official facility list includes private waiting space, separate security screening, customs, immigration and quarantine facilities, plus a reserved vehicle drop-off. Passengers therefore use an identified process with the checks required to enter or leave Japan.
Our teams prepare the manifest and reception with the carrier. A separate route is not an exemption from inspection, and we do not guarantee identical processing times for every application. If a meeting finishes late, we confirm the hour accepted for the flight rather than inferring acceptance from the building’s opening hours.
Preparing the Tokyo visit with IBC Aviation
Our Bangkok office considers arrival and return together. IBC Aviation consults carriers as an independent broker, compares proposals and follows the confirmations. The chosen air operator performs the flight and validates the mission’s performance requirements.
Include passenger numbers, baggage and subsequent destinations. The budget for a visit lasting several days can depend on where the aircraft waits and how its crew is scheduled. Have your Tokyo flight programme prepared so those conditions are established before you select an offer.
Five days does not guarantee a parking place
InterAviation Japan, a handler listed on Haneda’s official portal, publishes a five-consecutive-day business jet parking limit and possible repositioning when the airport is congested. This information requires confirmation for your dates and aircraft.
The stated limit does not establish that a stand is available for five days.
For a week of meetings, we ask where the aircraft can wait and how it will return for departure. Repositioning and its charges need to be in the comparison, rather than emerging only at the end of your visit.
Four runways still require an aircraft-specific assessment
The coordinator describes four runways: 3,360 m, 3,000 m and two of 2,500 m, each 60 m wide. This infrastructure summary does not promise use of the longest runway or maximum aircraft range on every departure.
A regional route and an intercontinental departure might lead us to compare a Challenger 350 with a Gulfstream G700.
We request operator validation of loading, routing and the proposed conditions. These are cabin examples, not a claim that either aircraft is already available in Tokyo.
Quote the visit as well as the flying time
The quotation should specify positioning and reception charges, followed by waiting or aircraft repositioning during the stay. Our charter cost benchmarks help compare aircraft categories but do not constitute a fixed Haneda fare.
For an intercontinental flight, an ultra long range cabin provides a benchmark of roughly EUR 9,000 to 12,000 per hour. The Tokyo quotation adds positioning and stay arrangements instead of reducing the budget to this amount alone.
A programme combining Japan and Thailand can be considered alongside our Bangkok-Tokyo article.
Preparation must still cover your specific dates, aircraft and effective permissions. An example itinerary cannot replace the flight’s actual confirmations.
For a proposal accounting for the aircraft’s stay, send your dates for a flight to or from Haneda.

Frequently asked questions
What does a private jet at Haneda cost?
The ultra long range reference is approximately EUR 9,000 to 12,000 per hour for an intercontinental mission. A Haneda quotation specifies aircraft origin and reception charges, followed by waiting or repositioning during the stay. This category reference is neither a firm Japanese tariff nor the complete trip cost.
How long should I allow before a Terminal 3 departure?
The business aviation process includes reception, security and international formalities. Reporting time is confirmed with the flight’s handler and carrier. We provide a meeting time suited to the application, rather than promising a universal boarding interval for every passenger.
Can the aircraft wait at Haneda for a week?
The consulted handler advertises a maximum of five consecutive days and possible repositioning during congestion; we confirm the rule and stand for your rotation. A week-long visit therefore requires an assessment of parking elsewhere and the arrangements for the aircraft’s return.
Is the Business Aviation Gate open at night?
The official portal publishes 24-hour opening at Terminal 3. That confirms neither the slot, parking nor permissions for your flight. Our teams obtain those confirmations before retaining a late arrival or departure in your programme.
Are Haneda and Narita the same airport?
No. Haneda is HND / RJTT and Narita is another airport. The driver, reception and formalities must be prepared for the accepted airfield; we confirm that identification in the passenger programme so the private flight and transfer are not arranged at different locations.
