Gulfstream G300: New Model, Cabin and Range

The new G300, two living areas and up to 10 passengers

The new Gulfstream G300 is a super midsize programme offering two living areas and seating for up to 10 passengers, depending on layout. Its published 6,667 km range at Mach 0.80 remains preliminary and rests on specific loading assumptions. The name also appears on an older G-IV-based aircraft with a different cabin, and as of 21 October 2026 our Geneva office is not confirming charter availability for the new programme. For an upcoming departure, send us your route and cabin requirements; we assess aircraft actually offered for your dates.

Identify the aircraft before comparing a G300 proposal

The earlier G300 belongs to the G-IV family. The new programme is derived from the G280. Primary FAA documents establish the distinction: an airworthiness directive records the older commercial designation, while a separate regulatory document addresses the new G300.

A name alone is insufficient.

Before relying on a proposal, we request the exact model, registration and matching cabin plan. Seating figures from an older sales brochure cannot be carried across to the new programme. The same applies when comparing ownership opportunities with a charter requirement: the documentation needs to describe the aircraft under discussion.

Within Gulfstream’s current range, the G300 occupies the super midsize category. The manufacturer’s G400 specifications list seating for up to 12, compared with up to 10 for the G300, depending on layout. This helps compare cabins for a group; it does not establish charter availability for either model. For private jet charter to or from Geneva, our team assesses the actual aircraft and configuration offered on your dates.

Long-range cruise and maximum speed are separate figures

Gulfstream separates three performance measures on its current G300 specification. Each answers a different planning question, and none should be combined with another to create a mission the manufacturer has not described.

  • 6,667 km at Mach 0.80: theoretical long-range cruise
  • 5,556 km at Mach 0.84: published high-speed cruise range
  • Mach 0.85: published maximum operating speed, rather than the speed used for maximum range

Both range figures assume four passengers, two crew and NBAA IFR reserves. The data remain preliminary and subject to change. Carrying ten passengers, changing the cruise setting or adding baggage changes the assumptions. For an available charter aircraft, the operator must establish the performance of the proposed flight before we base an itinerary on it.

Range in kilometres does not determine a single flight time, because winds and the authorised routing matter, as do the selected airports. A theoretical city-pair illustration therefore cannot replace a flight assessment for your travel date, particularly when a nonstop arrival is central to the schedule.

Plan an available aircraft with IBC Aviation

Our Geneva office begins with when you need to arrive and how the party will use the cabin. A working meeting, separate conversations and a requirement to sleep call for different layouts. We compare those needs with aircraft offered by certified operators, then verify the actual configuration rather than the seating maximum of a model family.

The new G300 can inform that discussion without becoming a confirmed booking option. If its dimensions match what you have in mind, request a proposal for a comparable cabin available on your dates. We identify the aircraft offered, its equipment and the terms of the trip; a similarly named model is not a substitute for that information.

Cabin dimensions describe space, not every passenger’s use

The published finished-cabin measurements are 1.85 m high, 2.11 m wide and 8.41 m long, excluding baggage. Gulfstream shows ten oval windows and several cabin plans.

The layout determines how you use the space.

A ten-passenger seating maximum does not mean ten people can meet around one table. For work, examine facing seats and table positions, then consider which conversations need separation. For overnight travel, a cabin plan needs to identify the intended sleeping arrangement. A passenger seat is not automatically a bed.

Published baggage volume is 3.40 m3. That is not a guaranteed suitcase allowance. We ask for dimensions of rigid cases or sports equipment so the proposed operator can confirm loading on the specific aircraft, rather than estimating capacity from volume alone.

Use category pricing to frame a real charter request

We do not assign the new G300 a charter rate without a verified offer. For orientation, super midsize charter starts from approximately €5,500 per flight hour. This is a category benchmark. It is not a G300 quotation; multiplying an estimated flying time cannot establish the price of a particular aircraft, whose positioning and availability still need checking.

Positioning, the sequence of sectors and aircraft availability affect the proposal. Our private jet charter cost information helps frame the category; the quotation defines the services included. If a different mission requires more cabin space or range, we can also assess ultra-long-range aircraft, with a separate budget and performance assessment.

The Geneva office can price the journey you need to make using an identified aircraft and a confirmed cabin layout.

Frequently asked questions

Can I charter the new Gulfstream G300 now?

As of 21 October 2026, we are not confirming charter availability for the new programme. Its published performance data remain preliminary. For an upcoming departure, our teams assess an aircraft actually available and verify its cabin plan, certified operator and mission conditions before making a proposal.

Is the new G300 the same as the older Gulfstream G300?

No. The earlier G300 is a commercial designation used for certain G-IV-family aircraft. The new programme is derived from the G280 and has a different cabin. We check the exact model and documentation before comparing aircraft, so seating or performance figures are not transferred between the two.

How much does a private jet in this category cost?

Super midsize charter starts from approximately €5,500 per flight hour as a category benchmark. This is not a charter rate for the new G300. A quotation for an available aircraft depends on positioning, the flight sequence and services, rather than a simple multiplication by an estimated flight time.

How long can the G300 fly on its published 6,667 km range?

There is no single flight duration derived from that range. The theoretical 6,667 km figure assumes Mach 0.80, four passengers, two crew and NBAA IFR reserves. Winds, routing and loading affect the mission. The data remain preliminary, and the actual flight requires its own performance assessment.

Does maximum range apply with ten passengers on board?

The published seating capacity is up to ten, depending on layout, while maximum range is calculated with four passengers. Those maxima do not describe one guaranteed mission. Passenger weight, baggage and operating conditions must be included in an assessment for the aircraft concerned before a flight is proposed.
