Private Jet Geneva Madrid, Around 1h45 in Flight

Geneva Madrid, around 1h45 with the arrival agreed

A private jet between Geneva and Madrid takes around 1h45, subject to the aircraft, winds and authorised routing. For an ordinary civil charter we assess Madrid-Barajas ; Torrejón is not a normal alternative. IBC Aviation's Geneva office prepares the programme with the operator and has reception in Madrid checked. When your delegation flies to or from Madrid, ask for a Geneva Madrid delegation proposal with the people travelling and the time of the first commitment.

Torrejón has a limited technical alternate role

The AIP classifies Torrejón for military use. Its official LETO entry allows a civil technical alternate to Barajas, authorised by agreement with the base's management.

That exception does not make it a normal arrival airport for your charter. We prepare the enquiry around Barajas and have the access applicable to the proposed flight checked. A meeting address elsewhere in Madrid does not, on its own, make Torrejón available.

  • Madrid-Barajas, LEMD: the starting point for a civil arrival, with handling and the flight time still to be confirmed.
  • Torrejón, LETO: not a routine alternative for this programme.
  • Geneva: provide the collection address and agree a reporting point where the travellers can meet.

Use hourly rates to frame the charter price

Light jets start from €4,000 per hour. The midsize reference starts from €4,800 per hour. Compare proposals for the same programme.

The available aircraft and its positioning affect the quotation, as do the services required. A one-way delegation flight followed by onward travel needs a different brief from the same party returning to Geneva ; state the intended programme when we enquire about availability. Our charter pricing references help set the category. The quotation establishes the agreed programme's amount without deriving a total from indicative flying time.

Barajas handling is arranged before arrival

Every aircraft using Barajas must have contracted a handling agent, under ENAIRE's Madrid instructions. We ask the operator and retained handler to clarify the reception arrangements.

The assistant sends a common instruction. It identifies where to report and whom to contact on site, with a departure meeting based on each traveller’s availability if members of the delegation reach Geneva separately rather than coming from the same address. Everyone receives the agreed meeting point.

The final itinerary follows operational confirmation before being sent to every traveller.

Geneva brings the delegation's requirements together

Identify the flying party. Our Geneva office uses that list to enquire about the cabin, distinguishing colleagues already in Madrid who will attend the appointment without taking the flight so that we do not request an aircraft for too large a party. Add the work equipment. Personal baggage counts too.

IBC Aviation consults operators as an independent broker. Our teams assess their proposals against the programme and seek confirmation of the arrival arrangements. To start that consultation, give us the stages of your Madrid business trip, including the contact authorised to approve a change of time.

If a meeting runs late, notify that contact before giving travellers a revised departure. We have the change assessed by those responsible for the flight, then issue an updated programme when the time is confirmed.

A new timetable needs a fresh slot check

At Barajas, flight plan times must match the allocated airport slot. Our teams have the operator check that alignment during preparation and whenever the programme changes.

The time needs confirmation. Where a session may run late, give the acceptable return window and the last commitment in Geneva so that we can ask the operator to examine another time without assuring that it will be obtained.

The chauffeur receives the updated itinerary. So does the delegation. Updating only one traveller can leave a vehicle waiting at the wrong meeting point even when the flight arrangements have been amended correctly.

Assess the aircraft against the passengers on each leg

The party determines the cabin. Describe any intention to work on board in practical terms, then have the layout available in the proposed aircraft confirmed.

The model name is insufficient. Our teams put forward the available aircraft with the conditions confirmed for the flight and reopen the enquiry if the party changes.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the Geneva Madrid flight in each direction?

Around 1h45 is a planning reference rather than an identical duration promised for both directions. It must be confirmed for the selected airports, aircraft, winds and routing. The itinerary supplied to travellers distinguishes flying time from the time required to report for departure.

Which hourly rate helps assess the price of Geneva Madrid?

Light jets start at €4,000 per hour, with midsize aircraft from €4,800 per hour. Your charter price is set out in a quotation for the programme and positioning, including agreed services. The passengers actually travelling on each leg determine the cabin enquiry.

Can the delegation use Torrejón instead of Barajas?

Torrejón is not a routine civil arrival. The published exception is a technical alternate to Barajas authorised by agreement with the base. We assess Barajas for this charter and have handling and flight timing confirmed before sending the programme.

Once your Madrid appointments are known, have our Geneva teams prepare your delegation’s charter quote.
