The 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix: dates and circuit

Round twenty-one of the 2026 calendar, the Las Vegas Grand Prix runs over the weekend of 19 to 21 November 2026, with a night race held on the Saturday evening, as it has been since the inaugural 2023 edition. The track, the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, is a temporary street circuit of 6.201 km and 17 turns, running along the Strip with a long straight of around 1.9 km, under the floodlights. The circuit passes the Strip's major hotels, hence lane closures and constrained ground access during race week.

Airports and slots: the saturation to plan for

Three fields serve the valley, with distinct roles. The table below places them.

AirportCodeRole during the GP
Henderson ExecutiveKHNDBusiness aviation field, south of the Strip
North Las VegasVGTGeneral aviation, no scheduled flights
Harry Reid InternationalLASCommercial hub, saturates fast

Henderson Executive (KHND), about twelve miles south of the Strip, and North Las Vegas (VGT), about ten miles away, handle most business aviation under a Prior Permission Required (PPR) regime, first come first served; Henderson also added 18 acres of aircraft parking in January 2025. Harry Reid International (LAS) takes jets too but saturates fast. A departure slot programme organises instrument departures after the race, and the FAA publishes specific airspace restrictions. These parameters, including the event parking fees, change each year: they are to be reconfirmed with the FBOs as the event approaches. On this, discover our guide to the private terminal (FBO).

Which jet for Las Vegas?

From Europe, an ultra-long-range aircraft is recommended for a nonstop flight, the London to Las Vegas distance reaching on the order of 5,200 to 5,300 miles as the crow flies. Allow around 10 to 12 hours of flight depending on aircraft, payload and winds. Heavy jets that are not ultra-long-range may need a fuel stop, often via the US East Coast. Given the saturation, it is best to arrive early and plan the departure strategy. Our ultra-long-range jets handle the transatlantic links.

On the ground and logistics

With the circuit running along the Strip's hotels, ground access is heavily constrained during race week. In 2025, several hundred private aircraft were booked across the valley's fields: the parking reservations, the departure programme and the airspace restrictions call for planning well ahead, as do transfers during the Strip closures. That is exactly what we take on, as our article on the added value of a charter broker and our concierge services explain.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dates of the 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

The Grand Prix takes place over the weekend of 19 to 21 November 2026, round twenty-one of the calendar, with a night race held on the Saturday evening on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

Which airport for a private jet during the Grand Prix?

Henderson Executive (KHND), south of the Strip, and North Las Vegas (VGT) handle most business aviation under a Prior Permission Required (PPR) regime. Harry Reid International (LAS) takes jets too but saturates fast. Parking must be booked well ahead.

How long is the flight from Europe?

Around 10 to 12 hours in an ultra-long-range jet nonstop from London or Paris. Aircraft that are not ultra-long-range may need a fuel stop, often via the US East Coast. These times vary with aircraft, payload and winds.

Why plan the airport logistics so far ahead?

The valley's fields saturate: the parking reservations (PPR), the departure slot programme and the FAA airspace restrictions call for planning well ahead, as does managing transfers during the Strip closures.
