Private Jet Singapore-Jakarta, About 1h30 to 2h
Singapore-Jakarta, allow approximately 1h30 to 2h
For a private jet between Singapore and Jakarta, allow approximately 1h30 to 2h between airports as a planning estimate, subject to the aircraft, winds and air traffic. Halim and Soekarno-Hatta are two options to assess against your final address; at the Singapore end, airport access and a slot must be confirmed before choosing the departure time. Our Bangkok office works through these arrangements with the proposed operator and ground handler. Include the time you need to be at the venue and request a Singapore-Jakarta quote for your meeting schedule.
Two Jakarta airports with different locations
Halim is in East Jakarta. Soekarno-Hatta is in Tangerang, Banten province. Send the sequence of addresses if your visit involves several offices or sites. The location of your final meeting also matters when arranging the departure back to Singapore.
- Halim Perdana Kusuma, HLP/WIHH: Indonesia's civil aviation authority lists the airport at Makasar, Jakarta Timur, with international use. Its official Halim record identifies the airfield; acceptance of the proposed flight still needs to be obtained through the operational contacts.
- Soekarno-Hatta, CGK/WIII: the DGCA airport record gives Pajang, Benda, Kota Tangerang, Banten, and international use. We assess business aviation handling and the onward drive from this location without assigning a fixed driving time to every district.
In a release dated 4 October 2025, FBO provider WIRA states that its CGK operations began in late September 2025, alongside its existing services at Halim. Our team asks the handler to confirm the arrangements available for your intended flight.
Singapore access depends on timing and aircraft type
Ordinary flights at Seletar are not permitted between 22:00 and 07:00 local time, as published in the Seletar AIP. Exceptions for medical evacuation or emergencies do not make an overnight departure freely selectable, so we check the usable operating window before proposing your schedule.
Changi is also subject to a specific access rule. The published Changi restriction does not provide ordinary access for non-scheduled civil flights using aircraft types with 40 seats or fewer, except under special circumstances. The threshold concerns the aircraft type, including when fewer passengers are travelling, and we establish with the operator whether the proposed access can be accepted.
Arrange Singapore-Jakarta with IBC Aviation
At Seletar, slot details must be submitted from seven calendar days before operation until 22:00 local time the previous day. The CAAS process separates that submission window from the approval required before operating. It provides an urgent procedure outside the window, with possible changes to the requested schedule.
Our Bangkok office follows these steps with the operator. For the relevant foreign operator's non-scheduled charter services, an Air Transport permit is required for each flight.
IBC Aviation acts as an independent charter broker. Send your dates, passenger count and Jakarta addresses, and let us know whether you would like the same aircraft for your departure. We ask the operator about parking arrangements and its aircraft schedule before defining the services. Ask our Bangkok team to coordinate both ends of your trip.
Select a cabin around your team's plans
On a short sector, the seating layout deserves as much attention as the model name. Two colleagues reviewing documents together may have different needs from travellers wanting separate seats to rest. Specify your cabin needs.
- Light jet: a Citation CJ3 or Phenom 300 can be considered for a small group. Any proposal depends on the actual configuration, aircraft availability and accepted airports.
- Midsize jet: a Citation XLS may be assessed where its seating arrangement better suits the programme. We request confirmation of usable seats and baggage allowance on the aircraft being offered.
Include dimensions for commercial samples or large suitcases with your enquiry. An available passenger seat does not establish how much space remains in the baggage compartment.
Singapore-Jakarta charter costs, hourly benchmarks
A light jet starts at EUR 4,000 per hour; a midsize jet starts at EUR 4,800 per hour. These charter cost benchmarks help you compare categories. Your trip is priced on a quotation covering aircraft positioning and the services selected.
Tell us if your first meeting time is already fixed. We can prepare the enquiry around that requirement, then define the departure and reception times against confirmed flight availability and the onward drive.
Frequently asked questions
How long should I allow for a Singapore-Jakarta private jet trip?
Approximately 1h30 to 2h between airports, to be confirmed for the selected airfields, aircraft, winds and air traffic. This estimate excludes your trip to the airport and the transfer to your meeting. The proposed schedule also takes account of confirmed airport access and slots.
How is a Singapore-Jakarta charter price established?
Hourly benchmarks start at EUR 4,000 for a light jet and EUR 4,800 for a midsize jet. Your quotation identifies the proposed aircraft, positioning and planned services. Multiplying an indicative travel time by an hourly rate does not establish the confirmed price of your trip.
Is Halim always the right airport for a Jakarta meeting?
The choice depends on your address and confirmed handling. Halim is in Makasar, East Jakarta; Soekarno-Hatta is in Tangerang, Banten, where FBO services have also been announced. IBC Aviation compares the options with the operator and handler before selecting the airfield and transfer arrangements.
For a charter to or from Jakarta, send our Bangkok office the address that determines your itinerary.
