Private Jet Luanda, Two Airports For Your Business Visit
Luanda, distinguish two airports before confirming the trip
A private jet to or from Luanda requires the intended airport to be identified: FNLU, 4 de Fevereiro, or FNBJ, Dr António Agostinho Neto. From Paris, allow approximately 8 to 9 hours flying time, depending on the aircraft and routing, as well as winds. The Paris office of IBC Aviation checks the airport and aviation permissions with the operator before arranging reception. The relocation of scheduled services does not mean business flights have disappeared from 4 de Fevereiro.
Request a Luanda business flight assessment with the address of your first appointment.
Is 4 de Fevereiro still an option for business aviation?
A CIPRA publication dated 29 March 2026 reports a ministerial statement retaining 4 de Fevereiro for executive aviation and state visits. This distinguishes the airports' roles. It does not automatically approve your aircraft or operation. We have the flight's airport confirmed before sending instructions to your transfer provider.
The official ANAC classification for 2025 lists the two gateways separately. Their codes help prevent a name used in correspondence being confused with the airport actually confirmed. Our Paris office includes that identification in the programme sent to your assistant and local contact.
| Airport | ICAO code | Confirmation required |
| 4 de Fevereiro | FNLU | Flight acceptance and handling, plus reception arrangements |
| Dr António Agostinho Neto | FNBJ | Suitability for the programme and transfer arrangements; timing confirmation |
Your driver needs the confirmed airport and meeting point, rather than a general reference to Luanda airport. We coordinate that information after aviation arrangements have been validated. The airport code appears in the instructions. No road transfer time is promised before reviewing the address, time of day and local conditions with the provider.
What determines the long-haul and waiting-time budget?
For category comparisons, our benchmarks start at €6,500 per hour for heavy jets and range from €9,000 to €12,000 per hour for ultra-long-range aircraft. They do not guarantee a locally available aircraft at that rate. The mission quotation accounts for positioning, local charges and any cost of retaining the aircraft between meetings.
The indicative 8 to 9 hours from Paris do not establish either the right aircraft or the trip price. Payload and fuel, alongside routing and operational options, require review. A Falcon 7X provides an ultra-long-range category to compare, subject to validation for the particular flight and planned load.
A return several days later raises a practical question: retain the aircraft or arrange two separate movements? We compare costs and amendment conditions against the same itinerary. Our charter rates by aircraft category provide context, without replacing that assessment or creating a route package by multiplying hours and an hourly rate.
Arrange your Angola mission with IBC Aviation
The Paris office coordinates trips originating in France. Geneva supports Swiss departures and Dubai those from the Gulf. We select authorised operators, verify the planned airport and request the necessary handling services. The office handling your enquiry coordinates the flights and discussions with the different providers.
Provide each meeting address and describe what your delegation will do in Angola. A partner meeting, commercial prospecting and technical work require accurate descriptions. Your Angolan contact can supply invitations and local information; we coordinate the flight dates with the documents confirmed for the proposed visit.
- Arrival: confirmed airport and reception arrangements, plus driver contact.
- Visit: fixed meetings, site appointments and changes to the travelling party.
- Departure: preferred departure time and flexibility, plus any domestic continuation.
To bring those elements together, send your Angola programme to our Paris office. We distinguish confirmed services from requests still being processed. Our explanation of private jet landing permissions in Africa shows why reserving an aircraft does not, on its own, resolve every part of the trip.
Which entry category applies to prospecting or technical work?
The Angolan government announcement of 2 October 2023 described a tourist visa exemption for the nationalities concerned. This does not establish the entry regime for every professional visit in 2026. The competent consulate must confirm the traveller's position according to passport, residence and the precise activities planned.
The activity needs to be described before a category is selected. We should not conclude either that all commercial prospecting is exempt or that every business traveller necessarily requires a visa in advance. The Angolan consular information distinguishes entry documents and their conditions. We ask you to obtain confirmation of the category matching the programme.
Required documents, validity periods and evidence of the stay need checking with the competent post. A general invitation cannot replace a description of technical work. Departure is coordinated with the responses obtained; a tourism formality must not be presented as a general permission to carry out work in the country.
Can the mission include Cabinda or Catumbela?
An onward flight to or from Cabinda or Catumbela is assessed as a separate sector. Selecting FNLU or FNBJ for the international arrival does not establish approval for every following movement. We review the proposed transport, aircraft, airfield conditions and handling, followed by the arrangements needed to reach your final site.
If the delegation splits after Luanda, passenger and baggage allocation needs to be known before the quotation. We can compare that structure with keeping the group together. Our page on group aircraft charter explains what information to provide, without assuming that every installation has direct air access.
When an appointment is rescheduled, we have the operator check crew duty and rest before accepting the new departure time. Offshore access or a technical assignment is never implied simply by booking the main international charter.

Frequently asked questions
Which airport should a private jet use in Luanda?
The programme must identify FNLU, 4 de Fevereiro, or FNBJ, Dr António Agostinho Neto. An official publication dated 29 March 2026 confirms 4 de Fevereiro's continuing executive aviation role. We still obtain confirmation of the airport, flight acceptance and handling before fixing reception arrangements and the ground transfer.
How much does a private flight to or from Luanda cost?
Our category benchmarks start at €6,500 per hour for heavy jets and range from €9,000 to €12,000 per hour for ultra-long-range aircraft. The quotation accounts for positioning, local charges and time retaining the aircraft. These figures do not guarantee local aircraft availability at that rate and are not a route package price.
How long is the flight between Paris and Luanda?
The benchmark is approximately 8 to 9 hours from Paris. Aircraft, winds and routing affect the duration. This indicative duration does not guarantee the same programme at every payload. We confirm the proposed flight and selected airport, then prepare ground formalities and the transfer to your appointment separately.
Does a tourist visa exemption cover the business mission?
The competent consulate must confirm the requirements for the planned activity. Passport and residence also determine the requirements. A tourism exemption does not establish a universal exemption for business visits or work. We coordinate the schedule with confirmed documents, without making the opposite claim that every professional traveller must necessarily obtain a visa in advance.
Can we add a visit to Cabinda or Catumbela?
We assess that sector with the operator and local providers. An international arrival in Luanda does not automatically validate traffic rights, airfield conditions or access to the final site. We check handling and transfers without promising offshore access or approval to carry out a technical assignment.
