Africa Tech Summit Nairobi 2027, Private Jet Charter

Two summit days, with arrival determined by your pass

Africa Tech Summit Nairobi 2027 is scheduled for 10 and 11 February at the Sarit Expo Centre in Westlands. The 9 February pre-day and welcome reception are for Pro Pass holders. For a private jet to or from Nairobi, our Paris office plans the itinerary around your registration, meetings and departure city. You can request a quote for your summit trip with each traveller's pass details and the time of their first commitment, so the flight and ground arrangements follow the programme you will actually attend.

9, 10 and 11 February involve different commitments

The official registration page for the ninth edition lists Founders Day on 9 February, ahead of the two main conference days. The organiser announces the main days from 8am to 5.30pm, with the detailed schedule still to be released. Reconfirm those hours before finalising transport.

Meetings after the sessionsIdentify the last commitment before choosing the return departure

We recommend arriving the day before the first appointment to allow time for the transfer and settling in, adapting this advice to your circumstances. A team travelling from Johannesburg for both full days may need a different schedule from an investor joining a single meeting on 11 February.

The announced tracks cover digital finance, artificial intelligence, climate technology and developing businesses. Names still displayed under “2026 Speakers” do not constitute a confirmed 2027 speaker list. Our Paris office prepares the itinerary around your confirmed appointments.

Johannesburg to Nairobi takes about 4 hours in flight

The indicative flying time between Johannesburg and Nairobi is about 4 hours, depending on the aircraft, winds, routing and permissions. Attending the opening session also requires time for arrival formalities, the onward transfer and collection from your hotel.

Delegates may start in Abidjan, Lagos, Kigali or Dubai, according to where the team is based. The departure point, any stops and the travelling party are assessed together. If someone joins partway through the stay, we assess a shared flight and separate movements against each traveller's return itinerary.

Arrange your summit travel with IBC Aviation

Our Paris office collects each participant's requirements before consulting certified operators, and Geneva can also coordinate the file. Departure cities, passenger count, dates and baggage are checked against the first and last appointments. Send our advisers your team's Nairobi schedule for a proposal that identifies the flight, transfers and any other services requested.

For two days of meetings, the quotation compares keeping the aircraft at the destination with repositioning it. Availability and the full programme affect that decision, particularly when a traveller continues to another city.

We also check duty limits and crew rest requirements before confirming a changed departure time.

The return schedule helps determine the airport

Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson operate under different conditions. The KCAA's published air traffic control information lists continuous service at Jomo Kenyatta and limited hours at Wilson. Acceptance of an international flight, ground handling and aircraft parking require confirmation separately from air traffic control coverage.

Before setting the transfer to Westlands, we obtain the operator's confirmation of the airport and mission. A departure after the final meetings still needs sufficient time for the drive and formalities. Our Nairobi airport page introduces the two airports; the final choice follows the aircraft and flight actually proposed.

Aircraft and pricing follow the travelling party

A Challenger 350 or Falcon 2000 EX/LX may be considered according to the itinerary and availability, after checking the actual seating layout, baggage and performance needed for the mission. Requirements for working on board should also be specified, including connectivity, which must be confirmed on the selected aircraft.

The aircraft category price benchmarks start at €5,500 per hour for a super midsize jet and €6,500 for a large-cabin aircraft. The quotation reflects the flight offered, with positioning and local charges as well as waiting time between flights. Multiplying an indicative flying time by an hourly benchmark does not establish the trip price.

Westlands arrangements and individual entry documents

The organiser's announced venue is the Sarit Expo Centre, above the Sarit Mall in Westlands. Registration is required. Travel and accommodation are arranged separately from the summit pass; we coordinate the drop-off point with the driver without assuming access to a reserved summit entrance.

Entry documents for Kenya require individual checks through the official eTA eligibility portal, which refers travellers to exemptions according to their circumstances. We identify the points to confirm for each passport and purpose of travel, while the operator checks the aviation permissions required for the mission.

Your confirmed meetings provide the framework for the stay: ask us to coordinate your delegation's Nairobi flights.
