A very light jet is the right answer for a same day return between two European cities. Paris to Geneva in an hour, Paris to Cannes in an hour thirty: the aircraft waits, you fly home the same evening, and you never see a terminal.

It is the wrong answer for a full cabin with hold luggage. Range in this category is around two and a half hours, and the hold is the smallest of the fleet. We would rather tell you that before the quote than after the flight.

Very light jet charter starts from EUR 3,500 per hour, the lowest jet bracket we publish. Aircraft, crew, fuel, ground handling and navigation charges are included. De-icing, additional passengers, special catering, wi-fi and airport opening outside published hours are charged separately.

Two alternatives worth weighing

The turboprop costs less per hour and takes shorter runways, at the price of a slower cruise. On sectors under ninety minutes the time difference is often smaller than clients expect.

The light jet adds cabin, hold and range for a moderate step up, and is usually the better choice as soon as the group reaches five passengers with luggage.
