Switzerland's Ordinance on Aviation Infrastructure (OSIA, articles 39 and 39a) draws three lines. A commercial flight, which is what a charter with a certified operator is, may land in Geneva until midnight and again from 05:00. Between 22:00 and midnight, the Swiss slot coordinator notes that movements remain subject to conditions, including a noise index.

The same ordinance bars all non-commercial take-offs and landings between 22:00 and 06:00, so in the evening a chartered jet keeps two more hours than an owner flying privately.

A PPR slot does not guarantee a parking stand, Geneva Airport's terms state, and any change of time must reach the airport no later than 15 minutes before the booked slot. If your London meeting overruns, we move the slot while there is still time.

Passports, EES and ETA: one check at each end

Into Geneva, a British passport crosses a Schengen border. Since 12 October 2025, the Swiss customs and border office has run the European Entry/Exit System there: photo and fingerprints on first entry, no more passport stamps since 9 April 2026, and a length of stay counted by the system, 90 days at most.

Into London, Swiss and EU citizens travel on a passport, national identity cards no longer being accepted outside set exceptions, and hold an electronic travel authorisation (ETA), required since 2 April 2025 according to GOV.UK. The Home Office checks it once the General Aviation Report is filed, and a passenger without one should not be carried.
