A morning in Luxembourg, dinner in Milan

Italy and Luxembourg share a clock. Leave Linate at 7:00 and you touch down at Findel around 8:15, with the city centre a short drive away. Italy's slot coordinator lists Linate as operating 24 hours, so on the Milan side the clock never ends the day.

Findel does. Luxembourg airport is closed to all traffic from 23:00 to 06:00, and a chartered flight can only move later with an individual extension, never guaranteed. Heading home to Milan, you simply leave Findel before 23:00. Coming back to Luxembourg from Milan, a 1h15 flight means leaving Linate before 21:45, and we plan for about 21:15. Findel wants your return time before you leave

Under the Luxembourg AIP of 3 September 2026, every handling request for a business aircraft must reach the Business Aviation Center at least six business hours before the flight. It includes the aircraft's noise certificate and fixes arrival and departure dates and times: open-ended schedules are refused. The permission number then goes into the flight plan.

In practice, a day in Luxembourg starts with a chosen departure time, even a provisional one. If your last meeting ends earlier or later, the AIP asks for changes to be notified immediately, and we update the schedule at both Findel and Linate.

The 65th Salone del Mobile runs from 13 to 18 April 2027 at Fiera Milano in Rho. The organisers counted 316,342 visitors in 2026, up 4.5% on the year. We apply for the SEA Prime authorisation as soon as your visit dates are set rather than waiting for spring: the earlier the request, the wider the choice of times.

Which jet for Luxembourg-Milan

Over 1h15, the Mustang's stated 2h30 range leaves a margin if weather forces a detour over the Alps, bearing in mind that the load on board reduces it. For a team of five, or samples to bring to the Salone, the Phenom 300 is the sensible choice.

What the €7,500 covers

This example price applies to a one-way flight, Milan to Luxembourg or the reverse, in a Citation Mustang.
