Founded in Dubai in 2005 by Adel Mardini, Jetex has become a benchmark in business-aviation support. The company runs a global network of private terminals (FBOs) and handles ground services, fuelling, flight planning and the reception of private-jet passengers. Its first terminal opened at Paris-Le Bourget in 2009.

The Jetex Dubai terminal, at Al Maktoum (DWC)
Jetex's flagship terminal sits at Al Maktoum International Airport, code DWC, in the Dubai South aviation district, and not at Dubai International Airport (DXB). DWC is Dubai's reference airport for business aviation, where aircraft park close to the terminal.
Opened in 2016, the terminal covers 1,500 m², complemented by a dedicated ramp of 50,000 m². Its fit-out, which features furniture by Zaha Hadid, has earned international recognition for its design. The result is a hushed atmosphere, somewhere between a luxury hotel and a private lounge.

The services of the Jetex Dubai terminal
The terminal is designed to reduce waiting time at boarding and arrival to a minimum, in a premium setting. Passengers enjoy private lounges, a cigar lounge, a relaxation room fitted with sleeping pods, and shower suites available around the clock. Dining is provided by a catering service, and customs formalities are handled on site, 24 hours a day.
The signature of the place remains the Rolls-Royce airside transfer, presented as the first of its kind in the world, which takes the passenger directly from the aircraft to the lounge. The terminal is also certified to the IS-BAH and NATA Safety 1st safety standards, a mark of the operational rigour expected at this level of service.
An award-winning, committed FBO
Jetex is regularly recognised in the industry's rankings. At the World Travel Awards 2025, the brand was again named the world's leading FBO brand, and its Dubai terminal the world's leading FBO terminal, a distinction already won in previous years.
The company has also committed to sustainability, with a target of carbon neutrality by 2050. Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is now available in Dubai (DWC) through an agreement with Shell Aviation, as well as at Paris-Le Bourget.
