On the access side, one crucial point to know: Courchevel altiport (CVF) does not take jets. Its 537-metre runway, sloping at nearly 18.6%, is reserved for certified turboprops such as the Pilatus PC-12 or Cessna Caravan and for helicopters, with a mandatory mountain qualification for crews and visual operations in daylight only. The classic pattern is therefore as follows: the private jet lands at Chambéry (CMF) or Geneva (GVA), then a helicopter reaches the resort in 15 to 35 minutes, avoiding the multi-hour winter drive up the Tarentaise valley. Mauritius, summer in the middle of winter

While Europe shivers, Mauritius lives its southern summer: from December to April, the lagoon sits at 27 to 30 °C, the beaches of Belle Mare and the north come alive, Le Morne Brabant, a UNESCO World Heritage site, invites hiking, and the golf courses run at full pace.
