Private Jet Bangkok London: 12h Non-Stop, and a Visa
>The visa sets the window, not the aircraft
Since 25 February 2026, nationals of many visa-exempt countries enter the United Kingdom on an electronic travel authorisation, the ETA. Thailand is not on that list. A Thai traveller must therefore obtain a full Standard Visitor visa before boarding.
The approval rate for Thai applications sits at around 89 %. That is high. But the processing time has to be planned, and the date the document is issued governs the date of the flight.
We therefore build the quote around the consular calendar, never the reverse. The full subject is on our Thai passport and visa-free travel page.
Non-stop, or through Dubai
Two routings are used, and the choice turns less on comfort than on aircraft availability.
The direct flight requires an ultra long range aircraft, the only category able to hold twelve hours with a full cabin and hold luggage, which means a published range comfortably above the actual distance, the margin absorbing headwinds and any diversion. Indicative rates run from EUR 9,000 to 12,000 per flight hour, and the fleet available on this sector stays narrow. The detail by category is in our pricing guide.
A stop in Dubai opens access to more numerous and often more available heavy jets, at a lower hourly cost. We have an office there, which makes the stop operational rather than endured: our teams follow the aircraft on the ground, handle refuelling and the crew change, and the passenger waits in a lounge rather than a terminal. On a fixed-date itinerary, that option regularly proves the safer one.
Three business airports on arrival
- Farnborough: a 2,440 m runway that accepts every business aircraft on the market, up to Boeing and Airbus corporate jets. London is reached in around thirty minutes by train, or a dozen minutes by helicopter to Battersea.
- Biggin Hill: twenty-two kilometres south-south-east of central London, almost entirely given over to business aviation.
- London Oxford: despite the name, nearly a hundred kilometres from the centre, with motorway access that suits the Thames Valley.
The detail on all three platforms is on our London airports page, and the wider city context on our London by private jet page.
The reasons that make the sector
Three motives recur on this route. Business first, with a six to seven hour time difference that makes the night sector worth taking: you leave Bangkok in the evening and reach London in the morning, ready for the day.
Shopping and the fashion houses come next, often combined with Paris or Milan on the same trip.
And schooling. British boarding schools all start back inside the same five-day window in early September, which makes the boarding school run a period of heavy pressure on slots at Farnborough and Biggin Hill.

Frequently asked questions
How long is a Bangkok to London flight by private jet?
Eleven to twelve hours non-stop for roughly 9,500 km, to be confirmed depending on the aircraft, the load and the winds. Only an ultra long range aircraft holds that sector at full load.
Can a Thai national enter the United Kingdom on an ETA?
No. Thailand is not among the nationalities eligible for the electronic authorisation introduced on 25 February 2026. A full Standard Visitor visa remains mandatory, with an approval rate of around 89 % for Thai applications.
Direct flight or a stop?
Direct requires an ultra long range aircraft, and the fleet available on this sector stays narrow. A stop in Dubai, where we have an office, opens access to more heavy jets at a lower hourly cost, which often makes it the safer option on fixed dates.
